Raised in the ocean state of Rhode Island and the Andes of Ecuador, Lucy currently lives and works in Los Angeles as an audio producer and in-prison workshop facilitator.
Lucy found audio through a desire to be closer to people and their stories and have the agency to care for them in ways that other mediums didn’t seem to allow.
Since following that thread of desire which arose in 2017, she has hosted her own podcast, reported for multiple NPR member stations and produced for LA’s longest running public radio program, AirTalk with Larry Mantle at NPR station LAist 89.3. Her work has been recognized with two Golden Mic Awards and recently, a National Murrow.
She gravitates towards first-person storytelling and collaborating with people who've been impacted by the prison system.
